
Chandler was born and raised in North Carolina. She is a clinical therapist with Alamance-Burlington School System in Alamance County, working exclusively with students in the Intensive Behavior Support Classroom. In addition to school based therapy, she provides outpatient therapy for RWS.
Chandler graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2009 with a Bachelor’s in Deaf Education and from North Carolina A&T State University in 2016 with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
Chandler uses an integrated approach to therapy, including CBT, DBT, and person centered therapy to assist clients with identifying areas of growth in their life, recognizing thoughts and behaviors that inhibit their growth, and developing new skills to help them reach their goals. Chandler believes that every person has the right to be healthy and happy; mind, body, and soul. She is dedicated to providing the highest level of service with fidelity, genuine rapport, and personalization.
Chandler is fluent in American Sign Language and has experience with children and adolescents with learning disabilities and high risk behaviors. She currently serves children, adolescents, and adults. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, singing, and photography.
