Starting out in the fire service as a volunteer firefighter for six years. He started his undergrad degree at Strayer University obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal justice which lead him to working in the Justice system as a Correctional Officer for 5 years.
After serving as a correctional officer his heart wasn’t satisfied until he began working with at risk youth as a Youth Counselor for Chatham County. Helping others has always been a passion of his and he truly dedicated his life to giving back and promoting others. In his spare time he enjoys cooking, traveling, beach trips, working out and spending time with his daughter. He’s an avid supporter of mental health and self care! |

I am a Qualified Professional in mental health and addiction studies with 3 years of work experience with people who have diverse needs from all different ages. I am Knowledgeable in behavioral monitoring, research methods, rehabilitation techniques, and therapeutic case management skills . I have Strengths in performing providing the person centred approach when providing clients with their needs and delivering appropriate therapies. I have a 4 year bachelor degree in rehabilitation in human service and a minor in addiction studies /alcohol and substance abuse. And continuing to further my expertise with my degree in a masters of Clinical Mental Health. I have 3 years of experience in the field of working with patients from all ages and their families in a detox/crisis recovery center and juvenile facility. Where I’ve practiced assisting caregivers/counseling , case management , and being a caseworker for clients and their family members with their decisions about how to best take care of their loved ones while they are struggling with becoming independent again through sobriety , behavioral health ,and mental health . Having been able to work with children and adults . I am able to provide counseling to children and families in a therapeutic setting. Teaching them by helping develop life skills with the model of care and person centered system . I am passionate about this work and do a lot of volunteer work outside the community with local outreach programs and my family by feeding the community and volunteering at shelters . I will continue to learn and grow as a professional. while continuing to perfect my craft of servicing the community . I take pride in the help I am able to provide for others as well as learn from my company and peers to come together as a community to assist those in need.
