Katherine L. Hernandez, was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico. Katherine received her Bachelor's Degree in Social Work in 2009 from The University of Puerto Rico at Humacao. After her graduation Katherine moved to Durham, North Carolina and started working with the Latino community as a Public Health Educator.
Katherine has experience working with the family system as a family support coach where she realized her passion for working with kids and mental health in a community environment. From here, Katherine pursued her Master’s of Social Work at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina. Katherine enjoys taking salsa classes, cooking Puerto Rican food, and spending time with her family.
Katherine serves both Chatham and Orange counties.
