Nicole was born and raised in Chatham County, NC. Nicole received her bachelor's degree from Appalachian State University in 2007 and then joined the United States Peace Corps where she was assigned to work and live in Guatemala, Central America and remained there for 6 years. Upon her return to the United States in 2014, she applied for grad school at Appalachian State University and went on to receive her master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Nicole is currently a School Based Therapist, but has worked with migrant farm worker communities, SPMI population, and in a Day Treatment setting. Nicole is fluent in Spanish and is passionate about providing services for underrepresented populations.
Nicole currently works at A.L. Stanback Middle School and Gravelly Hill Middle School in Orange County. Nicole also provides some outpatient therapy in RWS' Chapel Hill office location.
